Description
Deuterocohnia ‘Chlorantha’ is a true miniature. Assumed to be a form of Deuterocohnia brevifolia, this plant has been given a cultivar name since it was never formerly described as Deuterocohnia brevifolia ssp. chlorantha as had been assumed by most in horticultural.
Unlike most of the small Deuterocohnia species (formerly in the genus Abromeitiella), the leaves of this plant are narrow and relatively soft. The fine spines will break your skin, but in general you can ‘pet’ the leaves without much harm. The flowers are quite small and often only a single flower per rosette.
Available are offsets that are clusters of 4-6 rosettes with some roots showing, and both 4″ and 6″ pots filled in with rosettes.
