Tillandsia Coconut Grove

Description

Tillandsia Coconut Grove is a hybrid between Tillandsia chiapensis and Tillandsia capitata Red. As a primary hybrid between two species, it meets the two parents in the middle. Even when not in bloom, the fuzzy silver leaves have a peach blush under the velvety trichomes. When blooming, it initially looks like a straight capitata before the branches/paddles of the inflorescence fully develop and emerge from the primary bracts.The inflorescence blushes a stronger pink-peachy color than the leaves. Blooming around 18-20″ tall with leaves spreading to around 24″ wide.
