Description
Orthophytum triunfense is a silver, medium sized species. It will comfortably fill out a 6″ pot and the inflorescence only rises around 6″ tall. I haven’t seen it produce pseudoviviparous offsets on the inflorescence like many in the genus, but produces standard basal offsets. They usually don’t produce many offsets, but if healthy they always give one or two. It reliably self-pollinates and these are seed grown, uniform, and show no evidence of hybridization.
These, along with other smaller sized Orthophytum should be good in terrariums on the drier side.
Available are seedlings in 4″ pots. They can be shipped in the pots or bare root, your choice. Photos of 4″ pots taken 10/7/26.
