Description
Dyckcohnia July is a bigeneric hybrid made at Tropiflora between Deuterocohnia abstrusa and a Dyckia marnier-lapostolei hybrid. It was an approximate remake of Dyckcohnia June made by Jim Georgusis. The rosettes grow to ~5″ in diameter and form clumps much like the Deuterocohnia abstrusa parent. In good light, the leaves have an interesting color. It is a red-toned purple with a silver sheen/overlay. The flowers are more colorful than Deuterocohnia flowers by having orange-red sepals and yellow petals. Available are fresh offsets usually without roots.
