Description
Hechtia tillandsioides is the classic standby spineless species in the genus. By far the most common species in cultivation from the spineless group. This species is small, spineless, and have dense trichomes on the underside of the leaves giving a white appearance when grown dry (as the leaves curl in a bit). Fresh offsets with roots are available.
The last photo in the album shows the size difference between a mature rosette of H. lundelliorum compared to a clump of H. tillandsioides.
