Aechmea orlandiana Variegated

Description

This variegated form of Aechmea orlandiana is a unique cultivar. It is smaller than Aechmea Ensign in all dimensions. The color is a purplish leaning pink tone. Because of the size and color difference, I believe this is probably the Ervin Wurthmann clone and not the Bert Foster Reverse Ensign plant.

Like the other Aechmea orlandiana cultivars, this plant produces woody stolos and makes a great mounted specimen to really show off and look great.
