Description
Hechtia caerulea (syn. Bakerantha caerulea) is the one of the two large species in the spineless group within the genus Hechtia. The other species, Hechtia lundelliorum, has smaller white flowers compared to these blueish to light purple flowers. This is a very rare species in cultivation as most plants labeled as H. caerulea are misidentified. Hechtia caerulea is more succulent (thicker leaf) and has a lighter green color than H. lundelliorum. Only a male clone is available. A bareroot offset is a available.
